About a year ago I told you about the plans I had with my (very small) bedroom: a fun interior make-over including a way bigger closet! After some serious delays, I finally had the time to redecorate the room last month. Since I am so pleased with the results, I decided to share some before & after photos with you guys. Take a look!
Before
Welcome to our bedroom! The space has a sloping wall, which only leaves room for low cabinet dressers underneath. Next to the door we used to have a small clothing rack which seriously started to bow under the weight of all my clothes and accessories. My bags and shoes were lying all over the apartment instead of being gathered at a designated spot. The place was definitely cozy, but above all very dark, messy and inefficiently decorated!

And here is the recently updated version! As you can see, the layout of the bedroom is still the same, but we replaced a few pieces of furniture and slightly changed the atmosphere of the room. We replaced the old clothing rack with a lovely clean IKEA PAX closet with sliding doors and a mirror to save space. The closet has room for my favourite shoes, bags and pieces of jewellery. To save even more space, our new bed has huge drawers underneath where I can stock loads of knits, towels and sheets. I opted for all-white pieces of furniture and accessories (those cute lamps!) to brighten up the room.
The place looks much more peaceful and quiet now, don’t you think? I can’t wait to find new (preferably copper/gold/vintage) nightstands and add a few beautiful prints to the walls.
